The Reclining Vishnu

|This is the photogaph of a plaque carved on the inside wall of a cave situated on the shore of the Agathya Lake at Badami directly opposite to the shore on which are situated the famous Cave-Temples of Badami. The walls of the cave itself are of granite and are full of such plaques depicting both the Vaishnavite and Shaiva deities. But the strange fact is that the tourists to Badami rarely visit this cave.|

Indeed a beautiful arving on the cave. And you've seen well.
But I think somethng is not quite right on this image... sorry... There are refelxions on the photo or some lines that i cannot say from where that disturb a lot the view of the bas-relief. usuay , and that's just my personal taste, i like those kind of images in B&W where the contrast can be strnger and the details are easier to visualise.
Anyway, you had a very good eye and i think this place worth another shot. So maybe you can do it again ;)
Nice attemp! Just keep trying.
Take care, Stef
